Dragon Fly Mural
Congratulations! You have found the Dragonfly mural located at Joyce Park! Read the following text and write down some facts on your form.
Dragonflies are the most accurate predators on the planet due to their huge eyes and expert flying skills. Young dragonflies develop as aquatic animals called naiads. Some dragonflies can live under water as naiads for five years! Dragonflies are helpful to us because they love to eat mosquitos.
Cattails are found in wet/damp areas with calm waters, like shallow ponds and ditches. Cattails are important for many different species of wetland wildlife, providing nest materials, food, protection from predators and places to lay eggs.
