Narrative conventions are a part of literature, where there are several skills employed as a means of making a story more interesting and captivating. These narrative conventions assist in achieving a purpose or objective that is introduced in the beginning of the draft. For example, if the reader of your literary piece is introduced to a character name “Tom” from the beginning and then you bring up a reference to Tom again at the end, what you want to accomplish is the fact that you want your audience to relate the story back to Tom in order for them to make sense out of it.
